Common questions
- How do I restore my PRO purchase?
- Open LUT Studio, go to the Profile tab and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought PRO with. Restoring is free and also works after reinstalling the app or on a new iPhone.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose LUT Studio and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep PRO until the end of the period you paid for.
- Will I be charged after the free trial?
- Yes, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends: the plan you chose starts automatically when the trial is over. Cancelling during the trial (see above) means you are not charged.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in with your Apple Account, choose the LUT Studio purchase and tell Apple why.
- My Log footage still looks flat or wrong.
- LUT Studio detects most Log formats on import. If a clip still looks flat, open Adjust, tap Source and choose the format the clip was shot in, for example Apple Log or D-Log M. Then apply a LUT as usual.
- A video will not import.
- If the clip is stored in iCloud, LUT Studio downloads it first, so keep the iPhone online until the import finishes. Very long or very large clips take a moment. If it still fails, contact us from the app.
- Where are my exported videos and photos?
- Exports are saved straight to your iPhone's camera roll, in the Photos app. If one is missing, check that LUT Studio is allowed to add photos under Settings, Privacy & Security, Photos.
- Which iPhones does LUT Studio run on?
- Any iPhone with iOS 17.0 or later. LUT Studio is not available on Android at the moment.
